Group Training
I deliver comprehensive technology solutions and training tailored to all skill levels, with a particular focus on retirement residences. My mission is to empower people with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the digital world, enhancing connectivity, independence, and quality of life. With nearly 20 years of expertise in IT and software consulting, I offer tailored and relevant training, ensuring that every resident feels comfortable and competent with their personal technology devices and the devices available to them at their homes. My friendly and patient approach makes learning both accessible and enjoyable, fostering a vibrant, tech-enabled community.
I offer regular introductory, beginner and intermediate group training sessions that bring residents together to learn and explore technology in a collaborative setting. These sessions cover a variety of topics including: understanding and using the many features of iPads, iPhones & laptops, shopping and banking online, detecting and avoiding fraud, using health apps, Fitbits, Apple Watches and even interacting with Artificial Ingelligence (AI/ChatGPT), or using Virtual Reality (VR) to travel around the world right from your home! Group training on these topics not only builds digital skills but also builds community and friendship. Residents can share their experiences, learn from each other, and gain new perspectives on how technology can enhance their lives, providing both entertainment and utility. Whether it's working with email, dealing with passwords, connecting to the internet or setting up and configuring devices, my group training sessions provide a dynamic and engaging learning experience for everyone.

Support Clinics (One on One Sessions)
I also offer personalized one-on-one technology support sessions that cater to the individual needs of each resident. This tailored approach allows me to address specific concerns and questions, whether it's mastering the basics of using a smartphone, navigating social media, setting up/using an email account, and any other topics that residents may require assistance with. My patient and knowledgeable approach provides step-by-step guidance, ensuring that each resident feels confident and empowered to use their devices independently. The one-on-one format fosters a supportive learning environment where residents can progress at their own pace, ask questions freely, and receive the personalized attention they deserve.
My support services cover a wide range of devices and technology needs commonly encountered by seniors. I can assist with setting up and using iPads and smartphones, making it easier to stay in touch with loved ones and friends through video calls and social media. I can also identify and resolve common issues and problems with most devices, ensuring the devices are functioning as they should.
